Prayer Requests:

Pray for SAMS Missionaries Mike and Kim Miller who are coming to the states this month for deputation and to visit the SAMS Staff. Pray that a visa is secured for their baby Liliana.


Ask for travel mercies for SAMS Staff member Denise Cox as she visits missionaries in Peru from November 2 - 10, 2009. 

Also lift up the Anglican District of Virginia's Mission Day on Saturday October 24th.


Praise Report:

We give thanks for SAMS new missionary candidates Townsend and Dawn Cooper.


 We give thanks for a fruitful Board Meeting on October 1 - 2 and for new Board members Ed McNamara, Clark Smith, and Brian Wortham.

Please Pray For SAMS

Mondays...pray for spiritual health and strength for missionaries, staff and board. Tuesdays...pray for protection for the bishops, churches and people where SAMS missionaries serve. Wednesdays...pray that SAMS missionaries will have boldness in proclaiming the Gospel and that their lives and the work of SAMS will witness to the love of God for all people. Thursdays...pray for the physical endurance of missionaries, staff, board and the bishops and pastors where SAMS missionaries serve. Fridays...give thanks for the hundreds of dioceses, churches and individuals who partner with SAMS and SAMS missionaries to bring God's hope to Latin America and Spain. Saturdays...pray for God's continued provision for His work through SAMS. Sundays...praise the Lord for he is a missionary God who seeks to save the peoples of the earth.
